This thread was posted to Reddit's r/tifu subreddit by u/SaltyDalty21, an employee who works from home and is accustomed to taking professional video calls remotely.
However, one day, her cat decided to be a trickster and crawled all over her work setup. In the process, her cat literally unmuted her on the call without her knowledge. So, when she decided to speak to her cat in a cute baby talk voice that she only uses in private, she was surprised to realize that everyone on her team heard her. Thankfully, her manager did no more than some innocent teasing, although the Redditor is now known as the "cat whisperer" in the office now. Considering all the variations of embarrassing things that could happen on a Zoom call, it's refreshing that this one had a wholesome angle to it.
